I Bought this mouse almost 2 years ago & it's the best gamer mouse out there! It has an detachable cord, & auto swaps to wireless. It has 16 programmable buttons w/ a multiple (smart) profile driver interface that allows the user to create a list of games they play & set up different profiles for each; just start the game & the G700 grabs your custom profile for it. I've been gaming since Doom 1 on a 486x & this is the best mouse I've come across to date & Logitech provides the best warranty & support available! Yes it's a little expensive, but when you see all that it can do, combined with the quality of craftsmanship, you'll be very satisfied!
